Spring Open - Week Eight Results

The last week of the 2012 Spring Open brought almost all of the anglers out to the Main Injector ponds for a flurry of activity that included several fish over three pounds including Andrew's 3 lb 15 oz monster on Monday that held up as the biggest fish of the open and put the trophy in his hands for this year.  Congratulations to Andrew and all the anglers.  Here's the creel count:

Lake Michigan Challenge

On Friday, May 18th, a group of Fermi anglers took on a group from Argonne in the first annual Lake Michigan Fishing Challenge.   The Fermi team took home the champion's cup.  Here's a picture and check out the blog (click here) for more info and pictures.

The fish action is picking up at the Main Injector with both Tim and Tomski landing decent sized bass this week with Tomski taking the lead with only week remaining in the Spring Open.  Here's the creel count:

Spring Open - Week Five Results

Due to the weather and off site training, only one angler fished during week five of the Spring Open.  It was, of course, Tim, would took advantage of everyone's laziness to push the bar higher with a 2 lb 6 oz fish on May 3rd.  Here's the pictures:
